Abstract Al-Si-Fe-Cu-Ma alloy has been produced with spray deposition technology.The microstructures of the alloys under spray deposited, extruted and T6 heat treated conditions have been investigated. The mechanical properties at room temperature and 200° have been measured. The strenghening and fracture mechanisms of the alloy have been put forward.
