Abstract Less Ce content in rapidly solidified Al-Ce alloys at a certain cooling rate wasfound to facilitate the formation of granular disperse phase. While the alloys with definitecomposition may easily precipitate globular grains of higher dispersity if the cooling rate wasaccelerated.
