Abstract The effect of hydrogen on flow stress, strain rate sensitivity and elong-ation at high temperature for Ti-6Al-4V alloy has been investigated. When hydro-gen content is within a certain proper range, both the flow stress and the tempera-ture of superplasticity are decreased with only a small change of strain rate sensiti-vity exponent. The ductility is improved in the temperature 800--860℃.
