Abstract The effect of Al content on the ductile-brittle transition temperatureof Al-Si coating and the effect of fracture behaviour of the Al-Si coating on thefatigue properties of Ni-base superalloys have been investigated to propose the the-oretical basis of search for an optimum of mechanical properties of the high tem-perature coating on Ni-base alloys.
