Abstract Curie temperature and lattice constants of the nanocrystalline(Fe,Cu.Nb)_(77.5)Si_xB_(22.5-x)(x=9.5-17.5) alloys were found to decrease linearly with the increase of their total Si contenty x While the Si content in crystallized grains,x_α,increases linearly with increasing x.With the increase x,the magnetostriction of the alloys increases in amorphous state,but decreases after crystallization.The volume fraction of the nanocrystalline grains occurred in alloys may increase with the increase of x after annealing under certain temperature.
