Abstract The 500℃ isothermal section with P up to 23 wt-% and the verticalsections containing 6 wt-%P and 2 wt-%Ag of Cu-rich Ag-Cu-P ternary system weredetermined by X-ray diffraction, μDTA and metallography. The isothermal sectioncontains 3 single-phase regions, 3 two-phase regions and 1 three-phase region. Themaximum solubility of Ag or P in Cu is 1.5 or 1.2 wt-% respectively, while thatof Cu in Ag is 1.8 wt-%. One ternary eutectic reaction of composition, by wt-%,18Ag-74.5Cu-7.5P exists at 650℃.
