Abstract Rene'95 superalloy with hight density(>95% of theoretical value) and necklace microstructure has been obtained by liquid phase sintering and isothermal forging of the atomized alloy powders.This combined method of powder metallurgy can avoid the carbide precipitation at particle boundaries.which appeared generally during isostatic pressing.
