Abstract  The room temperature section and the isothermal section at 750℃ ofthe Ag-Pd-Gd ternary system containing 0--25at.-% Gd are constructed by X-raydiffraction analysis and optical microscopy. Both sections consist of 3 single-, 3 bi-nary-and 1 ternary-regions respectively.
