Abstract  By means of HM-100 hot-stage microscopy, the in situ observation of γ→β trans-formation in steel 12Cr2MoWVTiB has been carried out The sequence of the growth of ferriticneedles composing bainitic basket has also been determined. A multislip system transform modelconcerning the formation of basket has been proposed.
