Abstract On the basis of the relations derived in our previous paper on the application of thesub-regular solution model to the thermodynamic analysis of binary phase diagrams, thethermodynamic properties of In-Sb system are discussed. Using the constants of sub-regularity obtained, the standard free energy of formation of In-Sb and the liquidus inequilibrium with the congruent compound have been calculated. The results are in goodagreement with the experimental data. Various thermodynamic properties of the In-Sbmelts have been calculated and compared with the data of Terpilowski.
