Abstract  The effect of the different quenching temperatures,780-1050℃,on the mor-phology of martensite formed under different temperatures in T12 steel has beenstudied by optical and electron microscope. It is believed that the microstructureof T12 steel quenched from elevated temperature seems to be quite complex.
