Abstract An investigation on the thermodynamic properties of α-Al_2O_3, γ-Al_2O_3,gibbsite, boehmite and diaspore: standard enthalpy of formation, standard entropy, standard free energy of formation, and heat capacity was made based on calorimetric determinations and the published literatures.
