Abstract  The effects of reactant particle size. Si content, preheating temperature and bulk density of the green compacts on the characteristics of spin combustion (such as frequency of spin, pitch, average combustion wave velocity and combustion temperature) in (3Ni+Si) systems have been studied in detail. The phenomena of spin combustion has been analyzed and discussed. Correspondent; YAN Xinyan, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Southeast University, Nanjing 210018
