Abstract A convenient and reliable method for measuring the dynamic curves reflecting the effect of various heat-treatments upon the main properties of age-hardening alloys is described, that can be adopted to serve as a reference for determining the best technological parameters of heat-treatment. The method presented is very simple and effective and it has been guaranteed to meet the desired comprehensive requirements. In the study of strengthening phase, new phase-beryllide (Co_n_1>Cu_n_2· Si_n_3) Be_m in the alloy has been found. The composition of the strengthening phase of CuCo2Be alloy has also been analyzed.
