Abstract Based on the statistical distribution function of the dislocation link length derived by the author,an expression of dislocation link length distribution parameters for zero plastic volume change has been obtained as following where w=l2c/2λand or it can be expressed by the relation between mobile dislocation density and inmobile dislocation density as follows The in situ creep test results of Al-1%Mg alloy in electron microscope confirmed the theoretical prediction.
