Abstract Methods adopted in our laboratory for the examination of fractured surfaceby SEM may proceed in four ways: (1) ECP analysis technique; (2) Surface trace analysis technique; (3) Dihedral angle analysis technique; (4) Etch pits analysis technique.The limitation of each singular technique has been discussed, and it is obviousthat they should be used complemental to each other.
