Abstract The electron structures of H, He, Kr-void complex in Fe and the positron behavior in the complex have been investigated. It has been shown that the positron annihilation provides the information about the kind of impurity and the size of complex. The bound energy of impurity changes sensitively with the increase of the volume of complex.
