Abstract The hot hardness at elevated temperatures 500 and 600℃ of Fe-Bmicrocrystalline material with relation to the devitrifying annealing and structuralrefinement has been examined. It seems to be a linear relationship between hardnessand reciprocal square root of mean crystallite size not so fine, and to diverge fromthat for the ultrafine crystallites.
