Abstract  The scattered distribution of the lattice parameters in the Seemann-Bohlinmethod for stress measurement was discussed. A linear relation can be achieved by modifica-tion with the theory deduced from Kroner model. However, the Seemann-Bohlin methodcannot achieve good accuracy in comparison with the Bragg-Brentano method, particularlyfor low stress value.
