Abstract A calculational formulation for v.-%, f, of γ′-phase in the precipitation hardening Ni-base superalloys was proposed as:where C denotes each wt-% of its own alloying element. It is available from the data obtained by chemical analysis. The abovementioned formulation was verified by about 20 commercial superalloys.
