Abstract Hexagonal unit cells of composite reciprocal lattice have been derived for bcc as well as for fcc twin crystals, with these models, the characteristics of electron diffraction patterns of twinning in cubic systems can be figuratively described, thus simplifying the calculating and indexing processes of these patterns.
